The right surgeon can make all the difference

Once you and your eye doctor have decided that LVC is right for you, it’s time to start looking for a LASIK surgeon.

When starting your search for a LASIK surgeon, your eye doctor may provide you with their recommendations. You should then consider these factors:

• Experience: Be sure that the surgeon you choose has a level of skill and experience with the particular LVC procedure you decide on.

• Technology: Not every laser system is meant to treat every type of vision problem. When choosing a surgeon, make sure the laser system they use is effective in correcting your specific eye problems.

• Attitude: If the surgeon and staff aren’t as helpful and informative as you would like during your preliminary visit, they might not be right for you.
